I’m a Survivor

“I’m A Survivor” is a musical adventure that follows the Hartford Symphony Orchestra on a journey through jungles, oceans, and mountains. Along the way, Noah discovers the Survivor Kit – three essential skills for life: Observation, Adaptability, and Perseverance. Each skill is revealed through music and storytelling, showing how nature’s lessons mirror the challenges we all face. A playful metaphor for life itself, the story reminds us that with curiosity, flexibility, and determination, we can protect and enrich our own Mi Vida – our life – and help it shine.

This program is ideal for students K-8 and will feature a performance from the first place winner of the HSO’s 47th Young Artists Competition winner, Mindy Zhao.
